Shop I Lower Basic Engine construction. This course is an introduction to the lower components of the internal combustion engine. The students study, repair and test all the various components that make up and low construction of the ICE. Both gasoline and diesel engines are studies, tested and repaired.
Shop II This shop unit is aimed at advanced troubleshooting, repair, testing and proper installation of components as well as required safety procedures. Some live repairs are done.
Shop III Fuel systems This course is an introduction to diesel engine fuel systems. The students study various types of diesel fuel system components and designs. The students test, adjust and repair diesel fuel injection components in laboratory activities.
Shop IV Students study engine designs and theory. Included are overhaul, repair and service procedures. All engine components are included. Students learn disassembly, repair, reassembly and troubleshooting procedures.
