(To Campbell): Here you are, sir. It's good to have something to chew when the plane takes off. C: Thank you. At what altitude are we going to fly? S.: The altitude will be about twenty five thousand feet. C: And what have you got to read here? S.: Oh, a good number of newspapers and magazines. They are over there, in the very front of the compartment. Before landing. S.: Ladies and gentlemen. In 10 minutes we shall be landing at Heathrow. Please remain seated with safety belts fastened and with the seats in an upright position until the plane has come to a complete halt. Please refrain from smoking. Thank you.

A: Well, the Midland is a 3-star hotel and we are situated five minutes from centre of town. B: Uh-huh. And are you on the main road? A: No, we're on a side street, and all the rooms are very quiet. B: And what about a restaurant? A: Well, we find that most of our clients prefer to eat out, and as there are plenty of restaurants in the vicinity, we have only a small restaurant — but we do serve hot food in the evening.
