MY WORK AND STUDIES
Let my introduce myself. My name is Steve. I am a student. Last summer I passed my entrance exam to the Academy of Economy and Law in Khabarovsk and became a part-time student of the Law faculty. So I am very busy now. I work as a clerk at the court.
My working day begins at 9 a.m. and is over at 6 p.m. When I come to the court I study documents, speak with people who ask for help and discuss the order of the day with the judge. Four times a week in the evening the students of our department attend lectures and tutorials in the Theory of Law and State, History of Russia and other subjects. Once a week, on Tuesday we have classes in English. At the last lesson we read and translated the text about the legal system in England. The text was rather difficult. It took me two hours to get ready with it. I try to get only good and excellent marks for my subjects. I am sure I will become а good specialist.

Разрешите мне представить себя. Меня зовут Стив. Я студент. Прошлым летом я сдал вступительные экзамены в Академию Экономики и Права в Хабаровске и стал студентом-заочником факультета Права. Поэтому сейчас я очень занят. Я работаю помощником в суде.
Мой рабочий день начинается в 9 утра, а заканчивается в 6 вечера. Когда я прихожу в суд я изучаю документы, беседую с людьми, которым необходима помощь, и обсуждаю с судьей приговоры дня. Четыре раза в неделю по вечерам студенты нашего отдела посещают лекции и семинары по Теории государства и права, истории России и другие предметы. Раз в неделю, по вторникам, у нас практические занятия по английскому языку. На последнем уроке мы читаем и переводим тексты о правовой системе в Англии. Тексты бывают очень сложными. Мне требуется два часа, чтобы подготовить их. Я стараюсь получать только хорошие и отличные оценки по всем предметам. Я уверен, что я стану хорошим специалистом.

When I come to the home I begin to study textbook, write check works in the English, Theory of State and Law, History, Philosophy and other subjects. It took me two hours every day to get ready with it. I will try to get only good and excellent marks for my subjects.
Two times in year I will have a session, in which I will have a test and exam by different subjects.
I am sure I will become a good specialist.
