Cast: Veronica Sawyer - Barrett Wilbert Weed, Jason “JD” Dean - Dan Domenech (u/s), Heather Chandler - Charissa Hogeland (u/s), Heather McNamara - Elle McLemore, Heather Duke - Alice Lee, Martha Dunnstock - Katie Ladner, Kurt Kelly - Evan Todd. A near perfect capture and the first known dvd of this show's Off-Broadway run. Barrett is an incredible talent: amazing vocals, acting, and comedic timing. Dan and Charissa are both fantastic in their roles as well. The show is absolutely hysterical, much improved from the movie version. The first minute of act one is blacked out, but the show is otherwise fully intact with no blackouts and only slight washout in a few wide shots. There is no obstruction, the video is steady, the sound is excellent, and it's captured very well with the usual mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. It's filmed in 16: 9 and includes curtain call, encore, and playbill scans. Quality: A-. 2DVD)

This is a " Producer's Reference Tape", which was filmed so that future touring companies would have a reference, and ensure that choreography, blocking, direction, etc. would remain consistent in future productions. Filmed using two cameras, with sound patched in from the soundboard. This revival tour started in 1977, and opened on Broadway on March 5, 1978, where it played for a total of 147 performances. Some generational loss, but considering it's age, nothing too bad. Quality: B+)

A couple quick dropouts during the prologue and " What If? ", and the first half of act one is a bit shaky, but improves as the show goes on. One head that obstructs a small portion of the front of the stage, but it never blocks more than the actors' feet and it's rarely noticeable overall. No washout, and excellent sound. Filmed in 16: 9 with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. Includes curtain call. Quality: A-. 2DVD)

Act 1 is mostly complete with a few blackouts with cover-ups due to late comers. A little shaky at the start while trying to focus in on the zoom. A few heads in the way but shot around them very well. First act is 1 hour 15+ minutes, second act is missing " Hey Kid" and lasts little over an hour. Quality: A-. 2DVD)
