Equity Fights Aids and Broadway Cares presents this revival of a very early gay show from the 70’s, with music and lyrics by Fred Silver, as performed at Steve McGraw’s cabaret in NYC. Coverups during the beginning of " Benny's Dispatch", " It Won't Be Long Now" and the last half of " 96, 000. " Act two only has blackouts during clapping sometimes. Quality: A-)

Different lyrics and songs, very interesting to study and enjoy to compare to original and revivals. Example, Baker's wife dies from poison apple, not Giant. Picture fuzzy, not always focused on stage at first but gets better but not great. Quality: B-)

Nathan, Nick Spangler, Chip Zien. Closing night highlights. The show was amazing and so was the audience. Lisa stops the show after " Jenny's Blues". Fantastic show, great jokes, and the wedding speech song is something very special. Brilliant capture from front row stalls. Quality: B-)

Very brief blackout and missing 15 seconds after a song in Act 2 due to a battery problem. Quality: A-)

 

It's only a Play (29 dec 2014. Broadway. Cast: Nathan Lane, Matthew Broderick, Megan Mullally, Stockard Channing, Rupert Grint, F. Murray Abraham, Micah Stock. Most of the first 26 minutes of Act One are blacked out but complete after that with a head that can occasionally be seen at the bottom of the screen but does not affect the action. Sound is good overall, but slightly low with some shuffling and static but all of the dialogue can be heard. Quality: A-. 2DVD)

Jack and the Beanstalk (2009. Birmingham. Cast: Jonathan Eio, Lotte Gilmore, Dennis Herdman, Clare Baldry, Bobby Callahan, Paul L Martin, Jo Kirkland. Housecam with soundboard audio. Still a great vid and super fun to watch. Quality: B+)
