First act is filmed from the side, so there is a bar in the way sometimes and stage left is blocked, and it is slightly more shaky than usual. Second act is much better, steady and unobstructed. Nice capture of this immersive production that take place all over the theater. Everything is captured as best as can be done in this setting. A great HD capture of this immersive production that take place all over the theater. This was Scott's first performance going on for Pierre and he did a wonderful job. A very innovative show with great music and terrific performances. Quality: A-. 2DVD)

Fantastic and powerful performances from the whole cast. This is as nicely captured as can be expected from this show. There are several set pieces that obstruct the view of the action in certain places. There are about fourteen minutes of blackouts: most of the first seven minutes of act one, one and a half minutes of The Private and Intimate Life of the House, one minute of The Ball, three minutes of Balaga, one minute of The Abduction, and a couple other quick dropouts. It’s filmed in 16: 9, with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. Includes curtain call and playbill scans. Quality: A-. 2DVD)

Newsboys' Variety Show (7 march 2016. Cincinnati, OH. Cast: Sky Flaherty, Stephen Hernandez, Nick Masson, Jordan Samuels, Chaz Walcott, Iain Young, Anthony Zas, Devin Lewis, Alex Prakken, Michael Dameski, Joey Barreiro, John Michael Pitera, Stephen Michael Langton, Becca Peterson, Kaitlyn Frank, Morgan Keene, Ethan Steiner. A very cute variety show hosted by Chaz Walcott benefiting BCEFA. This show had it all: dancing, singing, Hamilton rapping, shirtless Newsies, and for all you fancies out there, two of them even kissed. The whole show is here, but the trivia portion and curtain call are audio only due to the house lights being risen for audience participation. Slightly wobbly at times and during dance numbers, near perfect audio. Quality: A-/B+)

Carrying the Banner and the following scene in Newsie Square alternate between being blacked out or severely obstructed by a railing. A six-minute blackout from about halfway through The World Will Know through the scene at Jacobi's Deli. Act two only has a two-minute blackout for the first scene, and a one-minute blackout during King of New York. Filmed in 16: 9, with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. Includes curtain call.
