Tempest, The (11 jan 2017. Stratford Upon Avon. Cast: James Tucker, Tom Turner, Alison Arnopp, Laura Cairns, Elly Condron, Joe Dixon, Daniel Easton, Caleb Frederick. Multicam proshot video of the new production at the RSC. Broadcast live in cinemas through a satellite feed and this was captured from that feed. Includes a behind-the-scenes featurette and interviews. Quality: A+. 2DVD)

 

Ten Commandments, The (2004. Hollywood. Cast: Val Kilmer, Lauren Kennedy, Adam Lambert. Commercial proshot. Quality: A)

 

Texas Chainsaw Manicurist (1985. Seattle. Cast: unknown. A bit grainy at the start but surprisingly low gen with clear audio. Quality: A-)

 

They're Playing Our Song (2 oct 2010. Los Angeles, CA. Cast: Jason Alexander, Stephanie J. Block, Daniel Guzman, Jamey Hood, Christa Jackson, Dennis Kyle, Sylvia MacCalla, Christopher Zenner. A couple quick dropouts during applauses, but no significant blackouts. One head that blocks a small portion of the front of the stage, but it's rarely noticable. Sound is a little quiet during the dialogue scenes, but very nice overall. Quality: A-. 2DVD)

 

Thoroughly Modern Millie (13 apr 2002. Broadway, NYC. Cast: Sutton Foster (Millie), Gavin Creel (Jimmy), Marc Kudisch (Trevor), Harriet Harris (Mrs Meers). Shot from 2nd row mezz on the side. Lots of closeups, but some spotlight washout from the angle. Amazing capture from digital master. A)

Thoroughly Modern Millie (8 sept 2002. Broadway. Cast: Catherine Brunell - u/s Millie, Gavin Creel, Marc Kudisch, Harriet Harris, Sharon Scruggs - s/b Muzzy Van Hossmere. Nice capture of Catherine Brunell as Millie. She has a different take that Sutton, so it's nice to watch. Good picture, but the sound could be better. Quality: B+)

Thoroughly Modern Millie (12 june 2004. Broadway. Cast: Susan Egan, Harriet Harris, Christian Borle, Kevin Earley, Emily Rozek, Leslie Uggams. Nice video with excellent closeups. Quality: B+)

 

Thoroughly Modern Millie (22 july 2006. Gateway Playhouse. Cast: Kristin Maloney, Gary Lindemann, Cristin Mortenson, Nick Spagler, Susan J. Jacks, Tina Hohnson, Kelvin Moon Loh, Charlie Parker, Adrian Pena. Proshot, a wonderful production with fantastic cast that was filmed on a tripod for the theatre's archives. Quality: A)

Thou Shalt Not (6 jan 2002. Broadway. Cast: Craig Bierko, Kate Levering, Norbert Leo Butz, Debra Monk, Leo Burmester. Closing performance of Broadway flop. Quality: B-)

 

Three Musketeers, The (17 nov 1984. Broadway Revival. Cast: Brent Spiner, Ron Taylor, Chuck Wagner, Liz Callaway, Marianne Tatum. Nicely filmed from the balcony of this show that closed after just 9 performances. Some generational loss. Disc also includes a TV review by Pia Lindstrom. Quality: B+) LIMITED TRADE!

 

Three Musketeers, The (January 1995. London Workshop. Quite informal and was performed inside a gym. The performers rehearsed for only 9 days. Quite funny and interesting to watch and hear. Proshot. Quality: A-) LIMITED TRADE!

In the first act you cannot see the heads if playing in front part of the stage. Act two is fine as the cam was in a better position. Quality: A-/B+) VERY LIMITED TRADE!

Time and Again: A Charmingly Old Fashioned Musical (17 feb 2001. Manhattan Theatre Club. Starring: Laura Benanti, Julia Murney, Lauren Ward, Lewis Cleale. Adapted from Jack Finney's 1970 novel. Filmed on the far left of the tiny theatre, camera is not able to get far right because a pole is in the way. Some railing in the way, but a quite charming musical)

 

Time and the Conways (15 sept 2017. Broadway. Cast: Elizabeth McGovern, Steven Boyer, Anna Camp, Gabriel Ebert, Charlotte Parry, Matthew James Thomas, Anna Baryshnikov, Brooke Bloom, Alfredo Narciso, Cara Ricketts. Very well filmed in HD with clear picture and excellent sound throughout. Quality: A-)

Times Square Angel (1985. New York. Cast: Charles Busch, Robert Carey, Arnie Kolodner, Theresa Marlowe, Meghan Robinson. A bit of generation loss but not bad. Nice clear sound. Very nicely filmed with steady camerawork. Quality: A-)
