Л Route the hydraulic unit overflow hose to the outside of the stay 1.

 

М Fasten the hydraulic unit overflow hose with the lower hose holder first, and then fasten it with the upper hose holder. Make sure that the lower hose holder is contacting the top of the bracket welded to the stay 1 and the end of the hose extends 70 ~ 100 mm (2.76 ~ 3.94 in) past the holder.

 

Н 40 ~ 60 mm (1.57 ~ 2.36 in) О 70 ~ 100 mm (2.76 ~ 3.94 in)

П Install the brake hose (hydraulic unit to front brake caliper) onto the hydraulic unit. The brake hose and its union bolt hole are identified by white paint marks.

 

Р Install the hydraulic unit solenoid coupler bracket onto the hydraulic unit, making sure that the pro-jections on the bracket are aligned with the edges of the hydraulic unit.

С Route the hydraulic unit solenoid lead and ABS motor lead under the hydraulic unit when install-

 

ing the unit, making sure not to pinch the leads between the hydraulic unit and hydraulic unit bracket.

 

Т Install the ECU (ABS) lead coupler boot all the way onto the ECU (ABS), making sure that the section of the boot that covers the ECU (ABS) is not pinched between the ends of the upper and lower ECU (ABS) brackets.

У Fasten the grommets on the brake hose (front brake master cylinder to hydraulic unit) and the brake hose (rear brake master cylinder to hydraulic unit) with the brake hose holder.

 

Ф When tightening the union bolt, make sure that the brake hose contacts the left side of the stop-per on the hydraulic unit.

 

Х Install the hydraulic unit overflow hose onto the hydraulic unit, making sure that the hose con-tacts the unit.

 

Ц 5 ~ 7 mm (0.20 ~ 0.28 in)

1 Plastic holder
И Engage the hose holder rib more than 3 notch.
2 Brake hose holder 2	Face the hose holder projection to the back.
3 Brake hose holder 1	Й Make sure that the white paint on the brake hose
4 Front brake hose	faces to back (right side only).
5 Front wheel sensor lead	К Install the hose holder to the innermost securely.
6 Front wheel sensor	Л Turn the handlebar completely to the right, and
7 Front housing	then fasten the brake hose and front wheel sen-
	sor lead together with the plastic holder.
	М Fasten the front wheel sensor lead along the
	inside of the brake hose.

Н Install the stopper to lower bracket projection. О Fasten the front wheel sensor lead to the center

 

of brake hose holder.

 

П Fasten the front wheel sensor lead along the outside of the brake hose.

 

Р Pass the front wheel sensor lead between the brake hose and front fork.

 

С Make sure that the stopper touches the outer tube stay.

 

Т 30 ~ 40 mm (1.18 ~ 1.57 in)

У Make sure that brake pipe touches the projec-tion.

 

Ф Make sure that the slot in the sensor housing fits stopper on the outer tube.

 

Х Make sure that the brake hose holder touches the projection of the outer tube.

 

Ц Make sure that the brake hose joint touches the projection of the outer tube.
