16. Problems of globalization
Globalization is one of the most important processes in the world economy. The process of globalization started in the 20-th century and goes on in the 21-st century.
The attitude to globalization is very different: from to totally positive to the opposite one. Globalization touches all the spheres of the life of people: economy, culture, politics, and social sphere. And it has both positive and negative results. The main positive fact is the turnover of money and labor force all over the world. The second quality is the world legislation system. Scientists often mention the fact, that globalization erases the borders of the countries, and most of them find highs and lows in it.
On the one hand, people from different countries can easily communicate with the help of the Internet. They can travel a lot, learn a lot about different natures. But on the other hand, some countries can lose it’s uniqueness. For example, the leader of the Venezuela - Hugo Chaves – is totally against globalization and his country is one of the most closed in the world.
Another example is the current economic situation in the European Union. Different European countries become the one confederation and now people of successful countries should pay debts of less successful countries of the European Union.
So, there is no surprise, that there is an organization of anti-globalists, who tries to spoil international meetings or summits like G8 and the like. They want to stop the process of globalization. But as for me, I think, that it is really impossible. Globalization is a natural process of the modern society, so we should accept all its pros and cons.
17. Reasons for the increase of the number of crimes among young people
The number of crimes among young people all over the world, in our country and even in our region is increasing. And we can’t deny that fact. I’d like to speak about the possible reasons of this horrible satiation.
Nowadays in our country children even from the elementary school steal, rob, beat and sometimes even kill people. I think that the main reason for it is their upbringing and education. But it is better to say, that the absence of upbringing and education is the main reason. Usually these children are from disadvantaged families; their parents are alcoholics and drug addicts. Sometimes children begin to smoke, drink and take drugs from the early age. And they need money for that. So, they rob people, they steal their money, jewelry and sell-phones. Sometimes they do it for fun, sometimes they even kill for fun.
But sometimes the young criminals are from good or even rich families. I think that they commit crimes only because they are spoiled and they think that they’ll never be punished. And sometimes they really escape from punishment because of their parents.
Sometimes they say, that children and youngers commit crimes because they play computer games a lot. I can’t agree with this. I think that if a child sits near his computer a lot, his parents don’t pay much attention to him, they don’t bring up and educate their child. So, you see, again it is connected with parents.

In conclusion, I’d like to say, that the problem of infant and teenager delinquency is really serious and our government should pay attention to it.
18. Advertisement and modern society
To tell the truth, I’ve never saw a person, who has never seen an advertisement. Well, only those, who have no TW at all. And also, I have never seen anyone who has bought something he seen in ads. In Russia it’s used to think that the goods, which are advertised are spoiled or losing their popularity. Sometimes it seems to me, that the only purpose of advertisements is to irritate the viewers who are waiting for the resumption of what they were watching.
The craziest country, making ads is Japan. I’ll never forget scary people with bird heads, singing a song to chewing gum. But some countries make ads of high quality. This requires a huge investment of money. For example good and effective ads produce Volkswagen Company.
For me it is strange to think that ads are made by human. By human, not infected with a mental illness. Especially when I hear «All is tip-top, heels, make up».
At the end of my speech I’d like to tell you some interesting facts about ads. Quentin Tarantino hates advertisements. So in his films characters smoke only cigarettes of the label Red Apple, which is made by Quentin. In Germany ads is made mainly for kids, because they spend more time watching TW than adults. Scientists also say that children are more receptive to the power of advertisement.
All in all, ads will surround us everywhere. This started in 1910, when the prisoner condemned to death shouted «Buy Van Gutens cacao» to the crowd. And it still works.
