6. Read the following dialogues and make up your own one with your partner to discuss the sights of Moscow.

Dialogue I

- Well, it seems we’ve got a chance of doing the sights of Moscow.

- I suggest we start with Red Square.

- Who will be our guide?

- If you don’t mind I can show you round the square.

- Not a bad idea! Red Square, the Kremlin…these words symbolize Russia for millions of people both in this country and abroad.

- That’s right. As far as I know the Kremlin used to be a fortress, a residence of the tsars.

- Who was the founder of Moscow?

- According to the chronicle Prince Yuri Dolgoruky founded it in 1147.

- The Kremlin and St. Basil’s Cathedral are really unique creations – masterpieces of Russian architecture!

- Majestic sights!

- If only their stones could speak.

Dialogue 2

- Dima, may I ask you a question?

- Sure, what’s up?

- I heard you had been to Moscow recently.

- Yes, I was there two months ago, on my summer holidays.

- You see, I’ve never been there but I am going to visit our capital next week. It is the business trip so I stay there only for two days. But I’d like to see as much as I can. What would you recommend me to start with?

-  Oh, that’s great. I think you should start from Red Square, of course. There are lots of places of interests there and near: the Kremlin, the State Historical Museum, Cathedral of St. Basil the Blessed, the monument to Minin and Pozharskiy, The State Historical Museum of Russia, the Spasskaya Tower, the Moscow Kremlin cathedrals and museums and many other famous  sights. And the second place which I would advise you to visit is Luzhniki Stadium where the 2018 FIFA World Cup was held. It is the largest stadium in the country.

- Oh, thanks a lot.
