The strength of the emotional instinct

INSTINCT

Instinct is a genetically generated active program. But such a program is easily copied and attached to any other program. Reason, when forming concepts, always gives them the corresponding emotional instincts. Without these instincts, the mind will be cold as ice. Yes, he will not create even the first concept without these instincts.

The strength of the emotional instinct

However, instinct is much stronger (more stable) than any skill. For it is almost not amenable to change. The concept (skill) is another matter. Today it is one thing, but tomorrow, due to the knowledge gained, it is completely different. But with instincts, this no longer happens. They are as strong as diamonds. Emotional instincts are much stronger than emotional skills, because they are transmitted in a genetic way. The skill can be changed. But instinct is impossible. On the side of instinct stability are genes. It can only fade away due to the Law of Strengthening (more on this in the following chapters), as a result of its uselessness in the changed conditions. But this extinction stretches over tens of generations. Whereas for the extinction of an unnecessary skill, sometimes a month is enough. For example, it happens when a student has passed an exam, and after a month he almost does not remember any of this.

PRINCIPLE OF EMOTION

First, emotional instincts are much stronger than emotional skills.

Second, there is good reason to believe that emotional skills responses are poorly reinforced. Yet skill, unlike instinct, is subject to change. It " adjusts" to the environment. So, feelings of emotional skills can be called something else. Although they are not very different from emotions.

These grounds are sufficient to consider emotion only as a feeling of emotional instinct in relation to the perceived object as an emotional stimulus.

P476. The principle of emotion

Emotion is a feeling of evaluative (emotional) instinct. Such instincts can independently carry out recognition, and can be included in the content of any program of the psyche that recognizes the images of perceived objects. Reflex data of each emotional program (emotional instinct) create a general emotional background (emotional state) of the psyche. (3. 6. 10. ) 476

This background is very expensive, because the language of emotions is the same for the mind, and for the subconscious, and for the vegetative system of the psyche. Moreover, the language of emotion is almost the same for all higher animals. For example, the emotional state of aggression, as a result of the action of the emotional instinct, a person is able to understand in any animal. And vice versa.

Both in rational perception and in thinking, the same recognizing programs (concepts) operate. We both perceive and think in the same terms. And when we perceive something with our mind or when we think about something, it never goes without emotions. Emotion is always a feeling. But not every feeling is emotion.

P475. The principle of emotional evaluation

Data of the reflex of the emotional instinct is an emotional assessment of the image of a recognizable or conceivable object. (3. 6. 10. ) 475

The reflex of the emotional instinct, like any psychic reflex of the program, necessarily has two stages: the stage of feeling and the stage of sending the data of this feeling. Reflex response data are its continuation, although they are not included in its content. These data can be the subject of analytical activity of the mental organ when it makes a decision (control team).

              PRINCIPLE OF EMOTIONAL LANGUAGE

Emotions are close to sensations, except that a single mental sensation is a reaction of the rule of one receptor. But one emotion is a single feeling of an instinctive program. Not any instinctive program, but only an emotional one.

P479. The principle of emotional language

The types of programs (emotional instincts) that produce emotions, and the data corresponding to them, necessarily constitute the language of emotional relations. Where the role of coding programs is played by the programs of emotions, and the role of terms is the data groups produced by them (responses). Complex emotions are decomposed into simple components.

                                                                                                       (3. 6. 10. ) 479

Why relationship? Because the emotional program distinguishes in objects that itunderstands stimuli that require response.

The emotional program regards the object as a phenomenon known to it, but it does not know anything about the essence of the object. But even what she knows is quite enough for accurate, adequate reactions of the psyche. Moreover, each image of the perceived object is evaluated by various emotional programs. They constitute a complex emotional characteristic, which is the emotional passport of the image of the perceived object. Emotional recognition? - Yes.

Emotional programs are simple, which is one of the reasons they are encoded at the genetic level. And in their complexity they are close to the receptor rule. But, if you look at the very root, then:
