Этот вид эссе называется Problems / Solutions Essay, т. к спрашивают вас какие есть проблемы и решениях этих проблем.
Пример задания этого эссе:
An increasing number of professionals, such as doctors and teachers, are leaving their own poorer countries to work in developed countries. What problems does this cause? What can be done to deal with this situation?
ВОТ ЭФФЕКТИВНАЯ СТРУКТУРА ЭТОГО ТИПА IELTS ЭССЕ:
1§ Introduction: Paraphrase the Task + Add general words like: there are numerous problems and there are certain measures to be taken to resolve them. 2 SENTENCES
2§ One of the biggest problems is … + explain it + give an example. To solve this problem, the government could …, which would... (do what? Add a result)
3§ Another issue is … + explain it + give an example OR result. This problem could be addressed by Verb+ing … which would … + result
4§ Finally, another problem is the … That is to say, … (explain the problem). The way forward should be to …
5§ Conclusion: sum up the problems and solutions you wrote above. 2 SENTENCES
ВНИМАНИЕ:
- В этом эссе можно написать про две или три проблемы, и соответственно про два или три решения этих проблем.
- Лучше писать проблему + решение в одном параграфе, чтобы ваше решение было связанно с проблемой.
- Тут нет вашей личной позиции, НЕ спрашивают согласны ли вы или нет. Вы пишите вашу точку зрения про проблемы и решения. Во вступлении вы перефразируете и можете добавить общих слов типа есть проблемы, и есть их решения. В заключении суммируйте проблемы и решения, о которых написали.
- Темы данного эссе разные: fast food, environment, education, migration и т. д. Структура эссе одна! Ура!
- Будьте готовы перефразировать слова problems, solutions, solve, чтобы продемонстрировать знание синонимов.

В эссе на 7 баллов и выше практически нет грамматических ошибок; есть сложные грамматические конструкции и слова, разнообразные выражения и синонимы; работа логично структурировано и в параграфах присутствуют основная идея, её объяснение + пример/результат; написано по теме и ваша точка зрения четко выражена; эссе отвечает на все вопросы задания.
