up One issue surpassed An issue linked to growth is how people, both music critics and public, who have questioned do not believe that really are musicians, who are a band invented. But as this is an issue Bill passed. " At this point, that's not a problem. But when we were younger, people thought bad because we were so small and we were all so different. " " For this reason, they thought that we had gathered in one place it's a little sad, because people do not trust the bands that have formed naturally.. Four young people who want to make music but I think the music industry is so fucking you can not trust anyone. " " Now that we are older that idea no longer exists, because we're the old guys in the world. We know how things work. Now we do for a good time" up Chile, absolute madness There is a close link between Tokio Hotel and Chile, precisely because of factors like youth of the musicians and the time that has passed between visits, or a much longer period than other bands hope to return to play in the country. Still, what saved his last passage through the country is not less. " I remember absolutely crazy. When we got to the airport, there were so many people that almost surpassed us. There were a lot of police, many photographers. So I was extremely mad. I remember a lot of enthusiasm. And we had an earthquake the first night we were there. So was well. It was an interesting experience, " says Bill. Knowing such a reaction, Tom ahead what they have prepared for this new opportunity where they will meet their Chilean fans, telling that " take you to Chile the show of the tour already tested earlier this year. Since we took a while to do album, we will play most of their songs. The classics Tokio Hotel will also be there. " " It will be an amazing show. We will transform every place into a night of madness. We have a display of incredible lights, screens and all those things that people have not seen. All combined with music and a beautiful guitarist, that going to be the best show I have seen, " the musician laughs. Tokio Hotel will perform on Tuesday 30 August at the Teatro Caupolicá n.
Argentina: Перевод видео с GD Q& А: Вопрос (В): Почему вы назвали ВИП пакет " Dancing in the Dark"?
Interview for Chilango. com – “Tokio Hotel returns to Mexico and we talked with them” Tokio Hotel, this band that stormed the scene a decade ago, has changed. Separated after their third album Humanoid (2009), they cut their hair, came back together again and presented a new album called Kings of Suburbia (2014). After five years, they’re finally returning to Mexico. On September 1st, the German band will be performing at the Pepsi Center and we did have the opportunity to talk with the Kaulitz brothers, Bill (singer) and Tom (guitarist/keyboardist). Several years have passed since your last visit to Mexico; Do you expect a similar response from your fans or do you think that somehow this time’s over? Bill Kaulitz: We knew from the beginning that Mexico would be part of the tour and we are super happy to play again there and carry the shows as we do it in Europe. I hope that the concert will be great; All the shows in Mexico are always fun and energetic, so we are super excited to go back there and see the fans again, as it’s been too long since last time. Do you remember something from your last concert at the Palacio de los Deportes in 2010? BK: Isn’t it the one we had to leave the stage? Yes, it is.. BK: The audience was very frenetic, so we had to stop the show for a few minutes and leave the stage, because there was too much madness. It’s great when you see people so excited. I have many memories of those dates; we had a signing session to promote our album and it was great. You broke up for a while, then released a new album, Kings of Suburbia, and returned back with a tour this year. Does this tour feel like in the old times, or is it better, worse? BK: The tour is very different from the previous ones because the places are different, the music is different, the album is more electronic than everything we’ve done before. We’ve tried to get out of our comfort zone; we all play new instruments and prepare the show differently, we are all seeking new creative ways to play and perform the songs live. We even left the big stages to play in clubs or smaller enclosed places. That is like a big party, a big celebration, and for that we need our fans to support us in the venue . It is a big challenge but we want to keep it interesting; we use synthesizers and moreover, we were able to take our music to another level. In the sense of connecting with the fans or between ourselves, it’s like it was in the old days. People have changed, the music has changed, Tokio Hotel has changed. You arose in a very different time (MySpace, emos, scene queens) and today everything is different (EDM, YOLO, SWAG) how does the band feel these changes? BK: We went out a little between the release of the last album and the release of this one, and we all changed as people. On this album, we wanted to reflect the music we enjoy. What happened is that it ended up being more electronic because we took the time to produce everything, we had the time to compose together, to explore other things — synthesizers, keyboard — and that’s what we like now. We were much more involved with technology, with parties, nightlife. We’ve seen many DJs, then this change was natural; we never force it. As you say, the album was made in a different way, was it more difficult or easier? BK: I don’t know, I think that it was not difficult, because we never had Interview for Chilango. com – “Tokio Hotel returns to Mexico and we talked with them” Tokio Hotel, this band that stormed the scene a decade ago, has changed. As you say, the album was made in a different way, was it more difficult or easier? BK: I don’t know, I think that it was not difficult, because we never had any pressure from the label to release it at a particular time and that was a good thing. Tom Kaulitz: It was like the first time, having fun while writing, composing and producing the songs. We had many issues but we didn’t have any pressure.. so it was like if we were free. Yes, in fact, it was simpler. Did you stay in touch when you were away and have you written the album together? BK: The process is different every time, but we have for most of this album. The pre-production was made by Tom and I in our studio, then we all gathered to work more on it. Sometimes we would lock ourselves in the studio in Los Angeles, other times in Hamburg, Germany. It happened a few times that we used sequences of drums to which we added Gustav to improve them. It was very electronic; sometimes you can’t make music without real instruments, but other times you can also use the computer programming. The interesting part is to mix everything and play it live together. Bring the album on stage implies a very different process. Your concert in Mexico City is on September 1st, on your birthday. Are you planning anything special? BK: In fact it is the first time that we do a concert on our birthday. I think that celebrating on stage with all the fans will be very special for the two of us. I’m sure that we will do something special for the show.
