1. In object clauses after verbs expressing order, request, suggestion.

 

Exercise 1. Explain the use of the verb forms in the following object clauses:

 

1. Tom insisted that I be also present. 2. I suggest that you have your foot seen to at once. 3. 2. After the predicative adjectives (sorry, eager …), if the action is regarded as an imagined one.
